Device | Connection Info

This tab on the Device page is used to view information on the connectivity technology that the device is using to communicate with the Ayla Cloud. You cannot edit the fields on tab. Following are the fields:

  • Network Operator - The wireless service provider used, such as AT&T, Verizon, China Telecom, Vodafone, etc.
  • IMSI -The International Mobile Subscriber Identity is a unique number (usually 15 digits) assigned to the mobile device. If you enabled the GDPRGeneral Data Protection Regulation privacy feature, a "*Private*" link displays in this field. You can click the link to obtain more information as long as you accept the terms in the message that displays.
  • Cellular Tower ID - This identification number tells you the location of the cellular tower (specifically the base transceiver station) in use by the device. If you enabled the GDPRGeneral Data Protection Regulation privacy feature, a "*Private*" link displays in this field. You can click the link to obtain more information as long as you accept the terms in the message that displays.
  • Signal Strength (RSSIRelative Received Signal Strength) - The relative received signal strength in the wireless environment (the higher the RSSI number the stronger the signal).

How to get here on the dashboard: Click Devices in the Navigation Panel, the device entry in the table on the All Devices tab, and then the Connection Info tab.
